Dr. Zach Hansmann has spent 15 years in the health and safety field and is the Principal of The Hansmann Group. He is also currently the Contractor Safety Manager and an Adjunct Faculty member at Michigan State University. He previously served as the Environmental Coordinator for the University, where he was responsible for campus-wide compliance with asbestos, lead, and other hazardous material requirements. He holds degrees from Michigan State University in Human Biology (B.S.), Construction Management (M.S.), and Planning, Design, and Construction (Ph.D.), where his research focused on the owner’s involvement in construction safety.
